Money
Who charges, the fee, tax, refunds and disputes.
Checkout, charges, refunds and disputes are on your Stripe account, connected through Stripe Connect. The buyer sees your name on their statement.

| What unlocks | A sale made through the Wall's checkout. On the Hobby plan, a payment or subscription created directly on your Stripe account, or by another platform connected to it, carries no Wall fee and unlocks nothing. A bank debit (SEPA, ACH, Bacs) unlocks when Stripe confirms the payment, usually days after checkout. To bring buyers from before the Wall, import them from the tool's Import page. |

| Refunds | From the customer's page or from Stripe. A refund of the whole payment revokes the licence and sends payment.refunded. A partial refund, made on Stripe, leaves the licence and its seats as they are and notifies you. |
| Disputes | A chargeback suspends the licence while open; the extension stops at its next check. You are notified with the response deadline. Won, the licence is active again; lost, it is revoked. A licence refunded while an inquiry is open stays revoked when it closes. payment.disputed and dispute.closed are sent. |
| Cancelling and switching | Buyers cancel, switch plans and change their card through Stripe's billing portal, from their account page. The Wall configures the portal on your account per tool, and its own for the account page; your account's default portal is never used. A subscription entitles the tool whose price it bills under. |
What you receive
Two fees come off a sale on the Hobby plan, both taken by Stripe at payment time: Stripe's own processing fee, at the rate Stripe publishes for your country, and the Wall's application fee of 0.5% of the amount paid, at least one cent. On Pro only Stripe's comes off. The Wall's fee is returned with a refund; Stripe's is not.
An example with Stripe's standard European pricing (1.5% + €0.25 per card payment; Stripe Billing adds 0.7% on subscription payments):

Tax you collect through Stripe Tax is added on top of the amount; neither fee applies to it. Stripe's fees for other countries and payment methods are at stripe.com/pricing; the Wall's is the same 0.5% everywhere on Free. A subscription's fee follows your plan: it changes on Stripe when you upgrade or when Pro ends.
Overview
The dashboard's Overview shows gross volume, net volume after refunds and fees, refunds, purchases and subscriptions against the previous period, and the funnel from installs to purchase. Money is read from Stripe charges tied to your tools; other activity on your account is not counted.
